Planting Time:

Blooms in mid to late summer. Prefers full sun and is drought tolerant. Flowers open in the morning, drop their petals in the afternoon and new flowers open the following day.






















Seeding Requirements: Seeds will germinate when planted in the early spring OR late fall. No stratification is required.

Planting Instructions: Sow seeds directly in the ground or in pots at 1/8" in late fall or early spring. If planting in spring the earlier the better with these seeds.
Maintain a moist seed bed; gradually reducing watering following the first year of establishment.

Linum is from the Greek word linon which means "flax."
lewisii is named after Meriwether Lewis
