More snow on the Palouse.  We're ready for spring but it's a good thing that there are so many ways to enjoy the snow.  A weekend snowshoeing expedition provided us with great views of a wintery Palouse and the rocky ridges had thawed enough to support a few hardy blooming buttercups.  We saw lots of little buttercup buds and imagine that a little sunshine will really make these pop open! 



We'll keep a sharp eye and keep you posted when the other early spring flowers finally decide to grace us with their presence.
