The Little Sunflower field is blooming and the sunny yellow flowers brighten our day!  This is the 3rd year for this 2 acre field and we are encouraged by the way the field is filling in.  The weeds seem to be less prevalent this year.  It took a lot of hard work and brain power to come up with the right formula of mechanical and chemical treatments that would inhibit the weeds but not affect the little sunflower.  We hand pulled a lot of weeds last year and will continue to walk the field in an effort to keep it clean.  So far so good!
